What Padfind collects
URLs you submit for checking
When you submit a URL to Padfind, that URL is sent to the API endpoint
(/api/check). The Worker fetches the page at that URL and parses its
content. The URL is used only to perform the check and to report results back to
your browser. URL submissions are not logged or stored server-side.
Page content fetched on your behalf
Padfind fetches the page you specify and any external stylesheets it references. This content is parsed in memory to extract subresource URLs. It is not retained after the response is returned. Parsed findings are returned to your browser as JSON and are not stored on any server.
No accounts, no personal data
Padfind has no user accounts. It does not ask for or collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifier. There is no login, no registration, and no session.
Local storage
Padfind uses your browser's localStorage only to remember your
colour-theme preference (light or dark mode). This data stays in your browser
and is never transmitted to any server. No cookies are set for analytics,
tracking, or advertising.
Third-party services
Padfind loads font files from Google Fonts. When you visit a Padfind page,
your browser may request font files (fonts.gstatic.com) and
stylesheet information (fonts.googleapis.com). These requests
are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
No other third-party services are used.
Data sharing
Padfind does not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties. It does not use analytics services, tracking pixels, or advertising networks.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. Continued use of Padfind after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
