No legal entity registered yet. This product is operated by an individual developer. No company name, registered address, or governing jurisdiction has been established. The operator must supply the entity name, address and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. By using Padfind you acknowledge that no formal legal entity currently governs the relationship. The Billing section below describes the payment terms that will apply when a legal entity is registered and a payment processor is connected.

Acceptance

By using Padfind (the "Tool"), you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Tool. These terms may be updated; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

What Padfind is

Padfind is a diagnostic tool that analyses HTTPS pages for mixed-content subresources. It returns a list of URLs loaded over plain HTTP, classified as "blocked" or "upgraded-or-warned", along with their location in the page source.

What Padfind is not

Padfind does not guarantee that every mixed-content resource is found. Limitations include:

Padfind does not execute JavaScript. Subresources loaded dynamically after the initial page load will be missed.
Padfind uses regex-based parsing, not a full DOM parser. Edge cases in minified or unusually formatted HTML may produce incomplete results.
External stylesheets that cannot be fetched are silently skipped.
Hosts behind Cloudflare's own network appear unreachable.
If the target page returns an error status (4xx/5xx), findings are based on the error page body, not the intended page content.

Padfind is a tool to assist in diagnosing mixed content — it is not a security audit, a compliance certification, or a guarantee that a page contains no mixed content whatsoever.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Padfind only to check pages you own or are authorised to test. You may not use Padfind to probe or scan third-party pages without their consent.

No warranty

Padfind is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied. The operator makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the Tool. Use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use Padfind, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

No accounts or stored data

Padfind has no user accounts, no login system, and no server-side data storage. Each check is independent and stateless. No data is retained after the API response is returned.

No email

Padfind cannot send email. Any feature described as providing email alerts is not yet functional. This is a platform limitation — no email sender is available.

Billing

Padfind is free. There are no paid tiers, no subscriptions, and no charges. The tool is provided as a free diagnostic service to all users.

If a paid tier is ever introduced, the pricing and billing terms will be published on the Pricing page and these terms will be updated accordingly.

Governing law

No governing jurisdiction has been established. This section will be updated when the operator registers a legal entity and specifies a governing law. Until then, these terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator's place of residence.
